The ways of rapid Prototype target computer:

By using the concept of traditional prototype target ways, according to preliminary requirements of users, establish hardware configuration of simulation prototype system in accord with target system: CPU mainboard in accord with target computer and I/O integrated circuit board in accord with target computer I/O; downloading models to real-time operating system of simulation prototype system and running it; having evaluation, analysis to simulation prototype system and completing the requirements of target system; repeat the above procedures until realize the requirements of uses over all. Simulation prototype system has become version 1.0 of target system.

The system structure of processor-in-the-loop:





According to the requirements for target computers from users, simulation prototype system can provide real-time simulation platform, that is open, easy for extension, multifunctional, and of higher automatic level, and also based on industry standard bus (PXI bus, CPCI bus, VME bus and VXI bus). Simulation system establishes simulation models with simulation tools, and download to real-time operating system of simulation prototype computer to run, and finally complete input and output of the same signals with target computer through real I/O hardware integrated circuit board.

The procedures of establishing testing system on this platform:

a) establish system preliminary theory model by adopting model development tools;

b) according to the preliminary requirements of users, establish the same hardware configuration of simulation prototype system with target system;

c) download models to real-time operating system of simulation prototype system to run

d) have evaluation, analysis to simulation prototype system; complete the requirements of target system;

e) repeat the above procedures until ealize the requirements of uses over all. Simulation prototype system has become version 1.0 of target system.

To run simulation development environment software on simulation development workstation. The main task is to complete the function of simulation models development, specifically including generating automatically running codes of embedded real-time operating system, simulation process management, simulation process real-time monitoring, simulation process real-time control, process function of simulation results, connecting with third-party modeling tool software and so on.

The software running on simulation prototype is mainly to complete real-time simulation functions, specifically including data service, models service, exceptions handling service and the functions of task scheduling and interface driving.

Simulation system control software package

Simulation system control software package is used specially for the simulation system, to realize control and management functions of simulation system. Software package can support Matlab/MATRIXx/Labview/Labview modeling, and also can automatically generate source codes running on Vxworks/ETS system, meanwhile can monitor and control the whole simulation process, so to guarantee simulation smoothly running and simulation result exact.
